I've used the pushchair to take my dogs out, which means going over grass and uneven paths at points and feel baby's ride is still comfortable and he doesn't seem to be thrown everywhere. All in all it's a great pram I have been using it for 6 months and I don't have any serious complaints just little niggles that are just my preference. Ie I would like the seat to be a bit higher or the basket could be slightly bigger. I’ve been meaning to write this Babystyle Oyster 2 review for a long time. A really long time. I don’t even know how long ago we bought our Oyster 2 pushchair now, but it must be around two years – and even a year ago I told my husband that meant I couldn’t possibly photograph it for a review because it was not looking its best. The seat has been redesigned so it can now lie-flat, and therefore is suitable from birth, the shopping basket has been made larger and the shape of the canopy has been changed, too. We like that the pushchair seat can both rear and forward face so you can choose which way to attach it depending on your child’s preference. We didn't use the carry cot for more than 2 weeks as our baby had reflux so hates being flat and next time I might not bother as the seat is suitable for a new born.

The Oyster 2 looks more luxurious thanks to the visible silver frame around the entire seat part and hood. The padded seat with built-in mosquito net is even more comfortable. The seat is more upright, so the baby will not lean when sitting. In addition to the three original positions, the fourth - fully reclined position was added, so you could place even the smallest children into the seat. The safety harness have been extended so the larger children will also fit in comfortably. The upgraded hood is more curved, so it won’t rub against the child’s head so soon. In addition, it extends silently so that the little sleeper doesn’t wake up. If you are looking for a full-featured system from birth, you can create it with a carrycot or a car seat. You can place them onto the chassis at the standard height or raise them with the optional elevating adapters. The only exception to this is if the items were delivered damaged, which must be communicated in writing to our customer service team with photographic evidence on the day you received your item(s). The new Oyster 3 has had a face-lift and builds on the awarding winning first generation pram with improved fabrics, new chassis options and updated features that include My only bad point to the pushchair is that when collapsed in PF, it is very long which means I have to take it apart to put it in my car everytime. However this isn't a massive issue and the positives definitely out way it.

Therefore we moved him into the pushchair partat 7 weeks and he is much happier. He looks very snug and comfortable and I love being able to speak to him with it in parent facing mode. I wanted a pushchair which could be used for a fairly young infant (less than 12 months), but would last through to toddlerhood – therefore a forward and rear-facing seat was essential. Weighing in at around 10kg, the Oyster is pretty lightweight and compact for a travel system and has been designed with a narrow width chassis making it easier to get in and out of doorways, while still offering a full width seat and optional carrycot. The downside is that the Oyster 2 needs two hands to collapse it, which means that if you’re on public transport, and need to collapse your pushchair to make room for others, you’re in trouble! When folded it’s also pretty bulky. You also need to remove the bumper and apron to fold it, but usefully, you can leave the seat on. For a more compact fold for storing at home the seat can be removed, and the pushchair can also freestand when folded. One of the great things about the Oyster 2 pushchair is the fact that it can be used as part of a travel system. This makes it really versatile for varying ages. Carrycot I have really bad joint problems which means I can't drive so I needed something light weight but sturdy for getting on an off buses. This fits the bill its also got a small foot print which means I can fit it in the smaller spaces on the bus when people with massive icandy or sliver cross pram want to get on. Right. So here, it is: my Oyster 2 travel system review, in all it’s battered glory… What to Look For in a Pushchair? First launched in 2009, the Oyster 2 is a revamped version of the original and combines sleek good looks and practical features with an affordable price-tag.
