There’s a host of fragrances to choose from in the lineup, each an apparent dupe of a high end product. I love Superdug’s own brand products as they’re so affordable, and each item is cruelty free. Designer perfumes are a wonderful thing – but let’s be honest, they don’t come cheap. So it’s not surprising that Aldi perfume dupes have become some of the most popular products in the supermarket’s surprisingly vast This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I like a stronger perfume for an evening scent. Aldi have done a good job in trying to replicate the smell though, and I think if you haven't worn the Jo Malone version before, you'd be impressed with the dupe. The first thing I noticed was the smell as soon as I took the lid off before I'd even sprayed the product. Straight away it smelt very familiar, so this was a positive first impression. With decent perfumes being pretty pricey, I’m often on the hunt for a good dupe so was keen to try Superdrug’s Layering Lab range.

It gave off a really delicious fresh, citrusy scent and it just kept developing as time went on, though not in an overpowering way. If I entered the room, or walked around it, I'd get a stronger smell of the fragrance but it was also subtly noticeable just when sitting in the room. I'd describe the fragrance as very 'spa like' - it reminded me of a really lovely facial oil - and it didn't smell synthetic in any way. Thankfully, this settled down as the day went on. I'd say the pomegranate scent isn't my favourite of the Hotel Collection diffusers, but I'm still impressed with the power of it considering it's so cheap. The scents of other Hotel Collection diffusers I've bought in the past have lasted longer than the estimated time, too!

I don’t think I’m quite ready to abandon Alien, but Superdrug’s Blossom certainly makes a decent stand in. Neom is certainly not the cheapest on the market, but if you want something that really fills your home with a gorgeous fragrance and isn't full of chemicals, I'd really recommend this diffuser. While I’m usually comfortable in the knowledge that I’ve used Alien in the morning and it’ll last all day, I took to carrying Blossom around with me as it seemed to fade after an hour or two.

Is there anything more comforting than the scent of your favourite perfume? A decent dupe of it, maybe. Aldi has a selection of reed diffusers from Hotel Collection which are Jo Malone dupes. I have tried other scents before, but this is the first time I've tried the No.3 Pomegranate Reed Diffuser.
