A baby KTan is a type of wrap that is specifically designed for newborns and infants. It is made from a stretchy material that allows it to be easily pulled on and off, making it a convenient and safe option for carrying your baby. I wasn’t able to try the Baby K’tan with a newborn, but I think I can say that I might like it even better than the Moby in the early days. The Moby can seem like an awful lot of wrap for a tiny baby, where the Baby K’tan seems much more compatible with carrying a little one. The ease of putting it on and the lighter weight fabric seem to make it a great option for small babies. Protip To put it on, simply slip it over your head and adjust the fit as needed. You can wear it over a shirt or dress, or even naked if you’re feeling brave.

Notes about the Baby K’tan

The Baby K’tan is two large loops of soft, stretchy fabric attached with a smaller loop, plus some carries require the included sash. Once the KTan is in place, you can begin adjusting the position of your baby. The goal is to have them in a comfortable position that will allow them to sleep without interruption. You may need to experiment a bit to find the perfect position, but it will be worth it in the end. Spoiler alert! The Baby K’tan is not my favorite, but it is still a great option. If it was all that I had, it would still work great. Baby Daniel is super secure, and I could go about my day doing chores while baby is nice and cozy.
