Anyways I had picked it up to be used as a filler but 400 pages of sheer pain was something that now I need a book which should bail me out of what this one has given me :). I am sure the rest of the series will be and have been enjoyed by millions of readers, I will just not be one of them. The bird children supposedly grew up in an isolated institution and were only at liberty for a scant month while enjoying the refuge of the lake house.
