If we're talking about the lifespan of a mini generator, that also depends on a number of factors. Like much smaller portable power banks, how long they'll continue to serve will be dictated by how often they're drained and recharged. The number of AC outlets in the Bluetti generator is four, while the number is two in the Ankergenerator. However, the AC outlets in Anker PowerHouseare optimized for delivering constant power to devices that draw low power, like CPAP Machines.

You can use this generator to power your multiple devices simultaneously without compromising on speed. You can use the generator for powering your USB-C devices or even the PowerHouse itself through the dedicated delivery port part of this unit.Since I first reviewed the Anker Powerhouse II 400, I have found myself utilizing it for a wide number of applications. When you have one of the best high-capacity power banks on the market, that has so much utility to offer, you tend to rethink electrical availability in various situations. If you think that 388.8Wh sounds like a lot of power, you’d be right. Based on average figures, you can get around five laptop charges, 23 phone charges, six hours of a mini-fridge and up to 30 hours out of a wireless router. Actual power draw and your specific devices will affect this. In terms of charging phones, there’s nothing to worry about. Even with a family of four, there’s enough power to get you through a weekend and beyond. For smartphones, taking one of the best USB-C battery banks out there is fine if all we need to keep powered is our phones, but more power and options are always nice if you have the room. This is where the Anker Powerhouse II 400 comes into play. With as much as 5-times the capacity of even some of the beefiest power banks. Now, the Powerhouse is about more than just how many times it can charge a phone; it's also about port options.

The solo AC outlet is a downer as well because there are times where you need two outlets. Perhaps you need to run two fans or charge a laptop and power a lamp. The point is that having more isn't a bad thing for a charging station with plenty of capacity to handle it. The other issue is that the max output for the Powerhouse is 300W via the AC outlet. With the premium LPF Batteries, this power station has 6 times longer lifespan. To ensure durability to a new level, this generator has been designed with a drop-proof unibody structure. Also, its electric parts that meet industry-standard take durability to another level. Anker Portable Power Station Powerhouse 400, 300W/388.8Wh, 110V AC Outlet/60W USB-C Power Delivery Portable Generator for Camping, Emergency Power, and More The Explorer 1000 provides 1,000 Watts of power through a wide variety of ports: three 110V household outlets, two USB-C outlets, two standard USB ports, and a 12V 10A DC car outlet. This thing can power a blender for 13 straight hours…if that’s your thing. You do you, I guess. My biggest surprise came as I tested the light ring I had for my lightbox, it drew roughly 40w of power even though its suppose to be low powered lights and are only suppose to draw between 5 and 10w. I then plugged it into a standard outlet and noticed the lights were dimmer and not as bright as when plugged into the powerhouse. This is when i realized the powerhouse was overpowering the lights and its regulator was failing when plugged into the powerhouse. So I stopped using the lights and chalked it up to them failing. My other test came when using my 3D printer which drew around 230w of power and ran consistently until the powerhouse died, I am thankful my printer has auto resume as I was able to plug it into a wall outlet and continue printing my parts. I didnt get any pictures of this or its run time because I had left it to run while I was at work and came home and plugged it in. My cpap machine lasted only 3 hours when plugged into the powerhouse which is longer than I had expected it to, but its also because I didn’t run the dehumidifier on it which draws significantly more power. An onboard pure sine wave inverter ensures that the power output is just as clean as what you get at home. It also reduces audible and electrical noise in fans, lights, speakers, TVs, and other sensitive appliances. The PowerHouse II 400 comes with a load of cables and materials to start charging your devices right out of the box. It comes with an 18-month warranty, too. Features a 60W USB-C port equipped with our exclusive PowerIQ 3.0 technology to charge mobile devices at high speed. Charge a MacBook Air 2020 to 50% in just over 40 minutes, or charge an iPhone 11 to 50% in only 30 minutes.

I like Anker’s tech and audio gear as a rule and this PowerHouse II 400 didn’t break that rule. This retro boombox-looking portable power supply can throw out 300 Watts to provide multiple charges to any number of gadgets and makes for a great gift idea for dads. Your iPhone 11 can be recharged 23 times with this mini generator. Your MacBook Air 2020? Charge that baby five times. While there is a lot to like with the Anker Powerhouse II 400, there are still a few downsides. There is only a single USB-C and AC outlet on the Powerhouse. As more and more devices move to USB-C as the charging method, it would be nice to have additional ports for that medium since higher wattage devices use USB-C to C cables rather than USB-A to C. The ultra-compact design of this generator helps you use it anywhere and is not necessary inside your home. When I tested my laptop its power draw was only around 70w and charged in roughly 2.5 hours and thats with me using it plugged into the powerhouse, although I was only streaming netflix and not gaming or doing anything power hungry. I know many people that have a company laptop and go into the field to do their job. Some employers provide inverters that plug into the vehicle to keep the computer from dying; others don't. Keeping your laptop powered for your job is a great use of this unit, and all the other features are just icing on the cake. You will get the generator along with a power cable, an AC adapter, a welcome guide from Anker and a hassle-free 18-month warranty. PowerHouse 200 is proud of being the successor of Anker’s original silent and clean portable generator. It suits you well for outdoor adventures and even medical emergencies. Even you can use it as a supplementary mobile power for your home medical equipment. It has the portability, versatility, and power to handle any challenge. High-Speed Charging: PowerHouse’s 60W PowerIQ 3.0 USB-C port can charge a MacBook Air 2020 to 50% in just over 40 minutes—that’s 40% faster than with an original MacBook charger. You can recharge a phone a whole bunch of times with the Powerhouse. While 108,000mAh is a lot of power, if you are charging a phone, your laptop, and running a fan, it will run out faster than you think. When you are going to be away from a power source to recharge the unit, you will want to keep an eye on what you are powering with it to keep from prematurely running out of juice. From powering appliances to charging mobile devices at high speed, PowerHouse’s 8 ports provide enough charging options for you to power you and your family’s entire trip.
