In fact the 110mm adaptor diameter size was such that it just buffeted against my 110mm pipe. I could of made the connected by adding some sort of seal to cover both the 110mm pipe and the connector. As it turned out I did not need the adaptor anyway as my 100mm pipe slide quite snuggly directly into the 110mm pipe. I have just had to put this one down to experience.
